About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager who is passionate about creating impactful sustainable finance content and developing and executing a world-class content marketing strategy that builds our brand, scales digital marketing, and positions Sustainalytics as a market leader. You should love researching, writing, editing, and sharing stories that will resonate with our target audience (institutional investors and corporations). In this role you will be developing content aligned with the content strategy developed by the team. You will oversee external and internal partners, helping with the development of content, as well as writing content yourself. Some examples of content you will work on include blog posts, white papers and e-books, designed to attract prospects and generate demand.
Job Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Senior Content Marketing Manager, regularly develop, write, and publish ESG content in various formats including ebooks, blog articles, infographics, newsletters, social media posts and more - to engage, educate and generate demand for our ESG products and solutions
  • Help build a content strategy and drive the execution of Sustainalytics' content marketing tactics that align with company objectives
  • Manage content campaign timelines and deliverables and contribute to the editorial calendar
  • Work with in-house and 3rd party content creators including graphic designers and writers, by providing detailed creative briefs and outlines and ensuring execution of the key themes/ideas behind the content
  • Collaborate with and carry out interviews of key industry thought leaders and internal subject matter experts to develop valuable insights to be used in our content development process
  • Work closely with the broader marketing team and commercial team members to develop content for various verticals and segments that attract new audiences and help them convert through the buyer journey
  • Ensure your content is reaching its intended audience, meeting lead generation goals, and helping to move prospects through the sales funnel


Qualifications

  • 4+ years' experience in a content marketing role, developing and executing a content marketing strategy in a B2B environment
  • Impeccable writing and editing skills are essential, including a portfolio of published work
  • Demonstrated project management expertise, including knowledge of content production workflows to meet deliverables on time
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
  • Deep understanding of B2B digital marketing and buyer journeys, with a data-driven understanding of how to translate marketing metrics into opportunities for action
  • Familiarity with Associated Press Style or equivalent
  • Bachelors or equivalent in Marketing, Journalism, Writing, or Business
