We are looking for a dynamic Social and Digital Lead to drive our overall social and digital strategy, combining creative vision, operational excellence, and keeping us ahead of the curve.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning and driving Buzz’s social and digital strategy across all platforms, ensuring alignment with brand, audience, and business goals.
  • Setting creative standards and overseeing content, campaigns, and day-to-day digital operations.
  • Leading the social and digital team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
  • Managing client accounts, partnerships, and influencer/creator initiatives, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Build commercial models comparing media value, production budgets and paid distribution to support new business and client proposals.
  • Planning and executing campaigns from concept to delivery, maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Providing support on digital operations, including content production, planning, production schedules, publishing, and platform management.
  • Tracking performance with analytics, measuring engagement, reach, audience growth, and revenue impact.
  • Using data to inform creative decisions, test new ideas, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify and implement tools that enhance reporting, listening and digital performance (e.g. Sprout Social, analytics platforms, emerging AI tools).
  • Monitoring trends, platform changes, and emerging digital opportunities to keep Buzz at the forefront of sports media.
  • Contributing to business proposals and initiatives, ensuring digital strategies leverage the latest trends and opportunities.
  • Owning and overseeing Buzz 16’s website.

Requirements
  • Experienced in social media, digital marketing, or content leadership, ideally in sports, entertainment, or media.
  • Proven track record of leading digital strategies that drive audience growth, engagement, and revenue.
  • Hands on experience managing campaigns, content operations, and publishing workflows.
  • Skilled in client facing roles, managing partnerships, influencers, or creators.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable initiatives.
  • Creative leader with excellent judgment and high standards across platforms.
  • Data driven, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Exceptional communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Up to date on social media trends, platform features, and emerging digital opportunities.
  • Have advanced knowledge of YouTube Studio, Spotify for Creators and long-form platform strategy.
  • Strong understanding of paid media strategy and performance metrics.
  • Proficient in tools including Sprout Social, Canva, Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
  • Experience building media value models and digital financial projections.
