About Us

Ascent has recently been acquired by Acuity Analytics. This is both a significant milestone for us and a tremendous opportunity for you.

Acuity Analytics is a business with a strong global reputation, an impressive client base and ambitious growth plans. We deliver deep insights and domain-led digital transformation to high-growth and heavily regulated organisations. To our customers, we bring a partnership that provides the talent, technology and capability to enhance performance and operational efficiency.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our Technical Project Management capability, helping project teams design and deliver digital, data and AI-enabled projects and programmes. You'll manage and lead Agile teams, remove impediments to progress, and keep delivery risks and dependencies on track — bringing delivery experience across AI, Data and Digital (AD&D) specialties without needing to be hands-on technical.

Working closely with your team and a wide range of stakeholders, you'll champion good Agile practice, drive continuous improvement, and help Ascent teams deliver great outcomes for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Help project teams design and deliver digital, data and AI-enabled projects and programmes.

  • Manage and lead Agile teams, ensuring effective collaboration, communication, and coordination.

  • Identify and remove impediments to team progress, promoting a productive and efficient work environment.

  • Facilitate, track and manage delivery risks and dependencies.

  • Build great relationships with your team and stakeholders.

  • Champion good Agile practices within Ascent teams to support our ongoing improvement.

  • Focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.

  • Bring delivery experience across AI, Data and Digital (AD&D) specialties, including application modernisation and cloud software development, adapting your approach to the technology context without needing to be hands-on technical.

About You

Our Technical Project Management capability is home to a diverse group of individuals with a common focus to deliver great outcomes for our customers. What we look for:

  • Able to demonstrate how you have achieved great outcomes for customers through Agile delivery methods.

  • Delivery focused with a desire "to get stuff done."

  • A self-starter who can work independently and lead others.

  • An ability to identify and overcome impediments.

  • A flexible, "can-do" attitude.

  • A background in working on software development or data engineering.

  • Exposure to AI, data or digital transformation initiatives (e.g. application modernisation, cloud migration, data platforms, or AI-enabled products) — technology-agnostic, with enough fluency to lead delivery without needing deep technical expertise.

  • Motivated to continuously improve.

  • Great communication and collaboration skills, with experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders from junior team members to Executive sponsors.

  • Able to retrieve data from common tooling to simplify reporting.

  • Commercially focused.
