Within JCDecaux UK, the Senior Technical Project & PMO Manager is responsible for leading complex technology-led transformation and strengthening the controls required to deliver scalable, secure and supportable technology change. The role exists to connect business priorities, architecture direction, technical delivery, PMO governance and operational readiness, ensuring programmes move from scoping through delivery into production with clear ownership, risk management and measurable value.

What you’ll be doing….

  • Technical programme delivery: Lead complex technical programmes across discovery, planning, delivery, transition and closure, maintaining control of scope, risks and decisions.
  • Cloud, applications and integration: Coordinate delivery across Azure, applications, integrations, data platforms and digital services, ensuring solutions are supportable and secure.
  • Architecture alignment: Partner with Enterprise and Solution Architecture to manage design decisions, technical standards, assumptions, dependencies and roadmap alignment.
  • PMO governance and control: Maintain clear plans, RAID, dependency tracking, financial impacts, decision logs, governance packs and delivery confidence reporting.
  • Technical delivery enablement: Work with engineering, applications, data, service delivery and suppliers to remove blockers, coordinate readiness and manage cutover or release activity.
  • Business value and transition: Ensure technical delivery supports business adoption, support models, documentation, operational readiness and benefits realisation.

  • Business, architecture and delivery teams are aligned around scope, standards, risks and decisions.
  • Technical risks, dependencies, design issues and supportability concerns are identified early.
  • Governance materials provide clear delivery confidence, options and recommended action.
  • Solutions transition smoothly into support with clear documentation, ownership and business readiness.

    A little about you….

    • Strong technical programme or project management experience across applications, integration, cloud, data or platforms.
    • Good understanding of technical delivery lifecycles, testing, release planning, cutover and transition to support.
    • Experience partnering with Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, engineering, applications, data or suppliers.
    • Strong PMO capability across RAID, dependencies, governance reporting, financial control and executive updates.
    • Azure, architecture, project, programme or agile qualifications, or equivalent practical experience, are desirable.
