Lead enterprise solution architecture for large-scale legacy modernization in banking and capital markets. Assess monolithic applications, integrations, databases, workflows, and reporting platforms; define cloud-agnostic target architectures using microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, Kubernetes, and Microsoft technologies. Establish migration roadmaps, high-availability and disaster-recovery designs, security, observability, resilience, and operational support models. Collaborate with business, engineering, security, operations, and client stakeholders to create implementable architecture blueprints and guide modernization delivery.

Responsibilities include removing impediments, managing delivery risks and dependencies, coordinating stakeholders, championing Agile practices, and driving continuous improvement. The role requires delivery experience across software development, data engineering, application modernization, cloud development, data platforms, and AI-enabled products, while remaining technology-agnostic and non hands-on. Strong communication, independent leadership, commercial focus, and reporting capabilities are essential.

Lead Agile technical project teams delivering digital, data, and AI-enabled projects. Manage delivery risks, dependencies, impediments, stakeholder relationships, and continuous improvement while adapting delivery practices to software, data engineering, cloud, application modernization, and AI contexts. The role requires project delivery experience but does not require hands-on technical expertise.

Design, build and optimise scalable cloud-native data platforms and pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Synapse and ADF. Implement ETL/ELT with PySpark and SQL, ensure data governance, performance, reliability, and collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver production solutions.
