The Opportunity

This dynamic role offers a unique  blend of secretarial and underwriting support, placing you at the heart of our business operations.

 

Your Responsibilities

As a valued member of our team, you will:

  • Deliver seamless secretarial support to the Department Head and wider team, including expert diary management, travel coordination, meeting logistics, invoice and expense processing, inbox monitoring, and document handling.
  • Partner with the Underwriting team to accurately record submission and policy information, manage premium bookings, and prepare files for peer review, ensuring precision and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to prepare insightful underwriting and management reports, and support ad hoc projects such as broker and client meeting materials.
  • Organise and facilitate impactful team events, conferences, and meetings—preparing presentations, agendas, documents, and marketing collateral that showcase Chubb’s professionalism.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Minimum A Level qualification.
  • Proven office administration experience, with knowledge of international travel requirements and processes highly desirable.
  • Previous exposure to underwriting support roles preferred.
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a proactive, independent approach and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Team spirit and initiative, adept at building strong relationships across all levels.
  • Advanced IT proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel); experience with Concur is a plus.
