In this role, you will be responsible for acting as a trusted digital transformation partner, helping enterprise clients in the DACH region align their strategic priorities with Iron Mountain’s Software as a Service (SaaS) and digital solution suite.

The Strategic Deals team is a high-performing group of digital solution strategists and deal architects focused on Iron Mountain’s most complex, multi-product opportunities exceeding $3M in contract value.

Operating within a global, matrixed structure, the Senior Strategy Advisor collaborates with Account Teams, Digital Operations, Product, Engineering, and Professional Services to ensure a seamless, customer-first experience and to drive forward the adoption of our new digital platforms.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the design and execution of strategic analyses (qualitative and quantitative) to support large, complex SaaS and digital transformation deals.

  • Partner with business leaders to accelerate strategies and operationalize initiatives for key strategic accounts, with a focus on platform adoption and digital outcomes.

  • Drive customer engagement through strategic ideation workshops that surface pain points and co-create solutions enabled by automation, AI, and SaaS platforms.

  • Act as a trusted thought partner by providing data-driven insights, industry research, and competitive intelligence that influence both customer strategies and Iron Mountain’s roadmap.

  • Shape bespoke SaaS solutions and commercial structures, balancing technical capabilities with customer business objectives.

  • Champion the adoption of DXP 2.0, helping customers embed the platform into their workflows to maximize efficiency, compliance, and business value.

  • Build deep relationships with senior leaders at client organizations and across Iron Mountain to guide critical business decisions.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in SaaS, digital platforms, or technology consulting, particularly in designing and scaling adoption of new solutions.

  • Proven success leading both strategy and execution in a technology-focused or consulting environment.

  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to move fluidly between qualitative insights and quantitative data.

  • Industry research and competitive analysis skills to align Iron Mountain’s SaaS and digital offerings to evolving customer needs.

  • Comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Excellent storytelling, presentation, and executive communication skills—able to translate digital/technical solutions into business impact.

  • Intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and a balance of strategic and tactical thinking.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across a global, matrixed environment and influence without direct authority.

  • Business fluency in German and English is essential

Bonus Points For

  • Hands-on experience with automation technologies (e.g., Intelligent Document Processing, digital workflow orchestration, SaaS integrations).

  • Familiarity with enterprise SaaS adoption models, customer success practices, or platform evangelism.

  • Wizardry in Google Workspace (Slides, Sheets) or other visualization tools for deal storytelling.

What We Offer (Benefits)

  • Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with your experience.

  • Generous paid time off and holidays to support a healthy work-life balance.

  • Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth through our global network

  • A culture of belonging in which you are encouraged to use your voice.
