Position Overview
The Full Stack Engineer Climate & Packaging adheres to business and technical standards, policies, and procedures throughout the software delivery lifecycle whilst accurately sizing and estimating the effort required to deliver technical solutions. They develop, build, configure, customise, integrate, and test high-quality solutions based on functional and technical requirements. They follow Agile methodologies and principles through work outputs and behaviours. They work with other Product Team members (e.g., Product Owner, Business Analyst) to ideate software solutions.
You will bridge business (Sustainability, Packaging, R&D, Supply Chain, Legal/Compliance) and IT teams to maximize value from SAP RDP and other applications in the climate and packaging product portfolio, ensure seamless integration with core systems (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, PLM), maintain compliance in a rapidly changing regulatory landscape, and contribute to Mondelēz's goals of eliminating waste, optimizing material use, and achieving circular portfolio targets.
Key Responsibilities• Act as the single point of accountability for all things technical in SAP RDP and other technologies in the Product: define vision/roadmap, prioritize backlog, own SLAs, and drive adoption across global and regional teams.• Gather and translate business requirements from Packaging, Sustainability, R&D, and Compliance stakeholders into functional specifications, enhancements, and configurations.• Oversee implementation, configuration, and integration of SAP RDP with SAP ecosystem (S/4HANA, Product Lifecycle Management, Business Technology Platform) and external data sources (e.g., regulatory intelligence feeds).• Lead incident, problem, and change management for SAP RDP and other products in the climate and packaging product portfolio: coordinate root cause analysis, vendor escalations (SAP/Accenture/partners), testing, and deployment of updates (including new AI-driven features for reporting accuracy).• Monitor solution performance, usage, and KPIs (e.g., fee reduction, compliance coverage, material optimization impact); partner with analytics teams for dashboards and insights.• Stay ahead of global regulatory changes (e.g., EU PPWR, expanding EPR in 200+ jurisdictions by 2030) and incorporate updates into the solution.• Manage vendor and partner relationships (SAP, Accenture, regulatory data providers); track licensing, support contracts, and renewals.• Contribute to strategic programs: align SAP RDP with Mondelēz's broader sustainability targets, zero-waste ambitions, and digital transformation (RISE with SAP, cloud ERP).• Facilitate user training, change management, and continuous improvement to maximize user adoption and business value.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Sustainability or related field (or equivalent experience).• 5+ years in IT solution ownership, application management, or product ownership - preferably with SAP solutions in sustainability, supply chain, or compliance domains.• Hands-on experience with SAP Responsible Design and Production (SAP RDP) or similar EPR/sustainability tools (e.g., packaging compliance, circular economy platforms).• Strong understanding of global packaging regulations (EPR schemes, plastic taxes, PPWR, corporate sustainability reporting).• Experience in FMCG/CPG industry, with knowledge of packaging design, material science, or supply chain sustainability.• Familiarity with SAP ecosystem (S/4HANA, BTP, PLM, Analytics Cloud) and integration patterns.• Proven track record in agile methodologies, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration in a global matrix environment.
Preferred:• Experience implementing or owning SAP RDP or related SAP sustainability solutions.• Certifications: SAP-related (e.g., SAP BTP, Sustainability modules), ITIL, or sustainability credentials (e.g., Circular Economy, ISO 14001).• Knowledge of AI-driven features in modern SAP solutions for regulatory reporting and predictive insights.• Background in consumer goods packaging sustainability or regulatory compliance projects.
