About The Role

The specific role is working in the South East New Homes team, based in Guildford covering the Home Counties and predominantly Surrey & Berkshire. The role involves managing current instructions, assisting the Partners in charge of projects, obtaining new instructions and business, assisting with the management of on-site operations in line with targets whilst maintaining a highly professional profile and a relationship with our clients.

Dealing with the wider Res Dev and Country Offices, this role will support the implementation of best practice systems and processes in the New Homes Residential Development team. 

 Responsibilities

  • To drive sales to developments, through forward thinking initiatives and close liaison with the sales teams

  • To engage in regular sales and marketing meetings with developer clients

  • To provide consultancy advice, pricing exercises, sales updates and strategy reports

  • To achieve / exceed income and sales targets

  • The role will involve occasional weekend work at events and launches

 Business Generation

  • Assisting the Partners in project management

  • Report writing and compiling pricing exercises

  • Market research and comparable reports

  • Managing the sites and onsite sales teams

  • Developing new business from future and existing clients

  • Creating a strategy to generate business with an agreed list of target clients

  • Generate activity via our in-house CRM system

  • Working closely with the land team to monitor the pipeline and explore any new homes opportunities

  • To build a network of contacts within the industry

 Client Care

  • Targeting key clients throughout the year, involving relevant structured meetings, and entertaining as necessary.  This will require hours outside of the normal working day

  • Client Liaison: Involving reporting, preparing pitch documents, attending pitches, attending client meetings

  • Provide weekly feedback on development sales and progress to clients and colleagues

  • Build excellent relationships with future and current clients

  • Maintaining a general awareness of market conditions, competition and opportunities

 Professional Standards

  • Working with the Partners and Res Dev Operations, to implement all systems and processes in line with the New Homes objectives

  • Ensure that the accounts for the team are updated regularly following appropriate and timely invoicing

  • Monitor the forecast and billings to ensure we are meeting set targets

 Team

  • Assist in the recruitment of team members (on site and office based) as necessary and manage them to achieve the New Homes objectives

  • Provide regular updates to new homes sales teams and all other relevant departments

  • Support team members with sales generation and progression

 Aptitudes required 

  • You must have the drive to succeed in a competitive marketplace

  • 3 Years minimum agency experience

  • The experience and ability to make and maintain contacts for the profitable development of business

  • The capacity to promote the professional image of the business effectively

  • The ability to formulate business strategies with the Partner in charge and Department Head for the development of the business and implement them positively

  • The ability and willingness to accept responsibility for any delegated management tasks

  • Flexibility to travel to meet the needs of the role

  • Good time management skills

  • Experience working with developers
