As the Senior Manager, Sales Account Management, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for developing strategic customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and executing account management strategies that align with Carrier's business objectives. This role provides leadership, coaching, and operational direction while fostering a customer-centric culture that delivers exceptional value and long-term partnerships.

Job Description
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Account Management professionals to achieve sales, customer satisfaction, and operational performance goals.

  • Build and strengthen strategic customer relationships by understanding customer business objectives and delivering solutions that align with Carrier's products, services, and contractual commitments.

  • Drive account growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and supporting strategic sales initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Service, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to deliver integrated customer solutions and ensure successful execution.

  • Support business development efforts by evaluating opportunities, preparing customer proposals, participating in commercial negotiations, and contributing to successful contract awards.

  • Develop and execute account plans that identify customer priorities, market trends, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.

  • Monitor key account performance metrics, forecast sales activity, and provide accurate reporting to leadership.

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance account management processes, customer experience, and team effectiveness.

  • Ensure compliance with Carrier policies, ethical business practices, and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning across the account management organization.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales, account management, business development, or commercial leadership.

OR

  • Advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing strategic customer relationships, and achieving business growth objectives.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills.

  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the HVAC, building technologies, controls, or industrial solutions industry.

  • Experience managing enterprise or strategic customer accounts.

  • Knowledge of CRM platforms and sales performance metrics.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and drive continuous improvement initiatives.


Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between £42,000.00-£84,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.   Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, CLA participation, market typical pay for the role, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation

This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
