At Vanguard, we're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Corporate Change function and play a key role in delivering our European transformation agenda. This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-profile programmes and business-critical initiatives that enhance how we serve our investors, strengthen our operations, and support our long-term growth strategy.
Working alongside senior executives and cross-functional teams, you'll have the opportunity to deliver meaningful change across a broad range of strategic priorities while building strong relationships across one of the world's most respected asset managers.
What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll lead complex, cross-functional projects and transformation programmes from concept through to delivery, ensuring successful outcomes for the business and our investors.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading large-scale projects and multi-year programmes that support Vanguard Europe's strategic objectives
Owning end-to-end project delivery, from initiation and planning through execution, implementation and benefits realisation
Driving programme governance, planning, reporting, stakeholder engagement and change management activities
Building trusted partnerships with senior leaders, subject matter experts and external vendors to align priorities and accelerate decision-making
Identifying, managing and mitigating risks, dependencies and obstacles while providing clear recommendations to senior stakeholders
Influencing and navigating across multiple business functions to ensure successful delivery in a complex environment
Supporting broader Strategic Services priorities and contributing to the continuous improvement of project delivery practices
What it takes
We're seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious change professional with a strong track record of delivering complex initiatives within financial services.
You'll bring:
Significant project management experience within asset management, investments or investment platform environments
A proven track record of successfully delivering a diverse portfolio of strategic, operational and regulatory change initiatives
Experience managing complex stakeholder landscapes and influencing senior executives
Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while balancing changing priorities
Strong project governance, planning and delivery expertise, with exceptional attention to detail
Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence at all levels
Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies and hybrid delivery frameworks
Previous people leadership or line management experience would be advantageous
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

This is a hybrid position and would require you to work in the office 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
