Develop and optimize partnership strategies across the UK and Europe through commercial analysis, market intelligence, competitive research, and strategic recommendations. Assess and escalate financial crime risks, advise stakeholders, enhance controls, prepare risk assessments and management information, support audits and regulatory remediation, develop policies, and coach colleagues. The role also contributes to continuous improvement, automation, and strategic initiatives across Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Technology.

Investigate transaction monitoring alerts and suspicious customer activity, escalate potential financial crime, and document cases for audit and regulatory review. Support the development, testing, tuning, and optimization of monitoring rules, scenarios, thresholds, and controls. Produce management information, dashboards, and reporting while contributing to quality assurance, risk assessments, audits, regulatory developments, system enhancements, and continuous improvement. Analyze complex ownership structures, document evidence-based findings, support AML and sanctions controls, monitor control effectiveness, contribute to reporting and dashboards, and partner with Compliance, Risk, Operations, Audit, and regulators on risk mitigation and continuous improvement.

Leads complex transaction monitoring and financial crime investigations, assesses higher-risk activity, and supports suspicious activity escalations. Designs, tests, calibrates, and optimizes monitoring controls, rules, scenarios, and thresholds. Identifies emerging typologies and control gaps, analyzes trends and performance metrics, coordinates quality assurance and regulatory reviews, advises senior stakeholders, and coaches colleagues. Partners with Compliance, Risk, Operations, Technology, Data Analytics, and third-party providers on regulatory change, system enhancements, model validation, and framework improvements.

Leads engineering, integration, deployment, modernization, and lifecycle management for enterprise physical security applications and infrastructure. Oversees access control, video, intrusion detection, visitor management, APIs, automation, cloud-enabled solutions, testing, reliability, incident resolution, and root cause analysis. Provides technical direction across security, infrastructure, identity, network, database, cloud, and vendor teams while mentoring engineers and improving system resilience, security, and operational efficiency.

Leads the design, development, and delivery of scalable cloud data pipelines and products. Manages and mentors data engineers, establishes engineering standards, ensures data quality and governance, translates business requirements into technical solutions, and drives architecture decisions. The role uses Databricks, AWS, Spark, SQL, Python, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development tools to support analytics, reporting, machine learning, and business decision-making.

Coordinate and manage Transfer Agent incidents and disruptions, support resilience testing, maintain business continuity plans, produce governance reporting, run post-incident reviews, improve third-party resilience, and drive process optimisation across business, technology and vendors to reduce risk and improve recovery and client outcomes.

Support assessment and implementation of European regulatory change: analyse regulations, document requirements, coordinate stakeholders, run workshops, develop and manage project plans, and prepare executive reporting, while receiving mentorship from senior operations leaders.

Manage collateral and margin activities for Vanguard funds, execute daily fund operations, maintain systems and counterparty relationships, lead process improvements, document procedures, resolve reconciliation issues, and participate in special projects.

The Senior Data Engineer will design and implement data pipelines for fraud prevention, collaborate with teams, and ensure high quality code while participating in agile methodologies.

Lead the ESG Data Product roadmap and backlog, translate business needs into product requirements, partner with engineering and data architecture to build scalable, governed ESG data capabilities, onboard vendors, monitor data quality, and drive adoption of enterprise data standards.
