About our team

At Elsevier, our Data Engineering Foundations team builds the core capabilities that enable engineering and data science teams to experiment, develop, and deliver solutions at pace. Working across product, engineering, architecture, and platform communities, the team provides reliable tooling, trusted data access, and scalable workflows that reduce friction and accelerate delivery.

As part of a global organisation committed to advancing science and improving healthcare, you will work in a collaborative environment where innovation is encouraged and individuals are empowered to contribute ideas that make a meaningful difference.

Responsibilities

  • Track product adoption, user feedback, and delivery outcomes to inform continuous improvement
  • Support the transition from legacy workflows to simpler, scalable platform solutions
  • Contribute to clear communication, onboarding resources, and shared best practices across the user community

Requirements

  • Experience in product management, product operations, business analysis, or platform delivery
  • Ability to understand user needs and translate them into practical solutions
  • Comfortable using data and feedback to guide decision-making
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across groups
  • Well organised, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in improving user experience and outcomes for internal teams
  • Any exposure to data platforms, experimentation tooling, machine learning workflows, or cloud technologies would be a plus, but is not required
  • An understanding of data privacy, security, and responsible data access is advantageous, but not essential
