Job Description

Own and drive profitable trading performance across an assigned market or portfolio of markets.

This is not a reporting role. You will use data, commercial judgement and AI-enabled tools to identify opportunities, make clear recommendations and mobilise cross-functional teams around the actions that matter most.

The Details

  • Own performance across revenue, traffic, conversion, margin, discount investment, customer behaviour and proposition KPIs.
  • Diagnose performance drivers and translate insight into clear, prioritised commercial actions.
  • Lead market forecasting, scenario planning and performance reviews, clearly articulating risks, opportunities and trade-offs.
  • Use AI, automation and self-service analytics to accelerate decision-making and remove low-value manual reporting.
  • Shape market strategies and test-and-learn plans across product, pricing, promotion, marketing and customer experience.
  • Partner with Digital Trading, Pricing, Planning, Marketing, Finance, Product and Technology to deliver agreed outcomes.
  • Evaluate campaign and promotional effectiveness, with a focus on profitable growth and reducing reliance on broad discounting.
  • Maintain a strong view of customer, competitor and market trends, identifying implications for trade.
  • Track actions through to delivery, with clear owners, measures and expected commercial impact.
  • Support strong P&L management across revenue, margin and investment lines.
  • Supporting our culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.

We believe being together in person helps us move faster, connect more deeply, and achieve more as a team. That’s why our approach to working together includes spending at least 3 days a week in the office. It’s a rhythm that speeds up decision-making, helps ASOSers learn from each other more quickly, and builds the kind of culture where people can grow, create, and succeed.

Qualifications

About You

  • Strong experience in e-commerce, retail trading, commercial strategy or digital analytics.
  • Proven ability to turn complex data into clear decisions and measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Strong commercial judgement and understanding of key e-commerce drivers.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity, challenging constructively and making recommendations at pace.
  • Able to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Curious, action-oriented and focused on continuous improvement.
  • Strong Excel capability, with SQL and BI tools highly desirable.
  • Practical experience using AI, automation or advanced analytics to improve productivity and decision-making.
