Job Summary:The Metrics Senior Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping high‑quality executive reporting, operational insights, and performance metrics across a complex, global technology organisation. This role requires exceptional analytical capability, strong business acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership.
You will craft insightful reports, develop robust performance dashboards, and support strategic decision‑making by simplifying complex information into concise, executive‑level messaging and presentations. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will own the design, refinement, and communication of performance metrics across Real-Time Engineering.
This role suits someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments, can structure thinking under pressure, and consistently delivers polished, high‑quality outputs suitable for C‑suite consumption.

Key Responsibilities:Executive Reporting & Insight Generation- Develop high‑quality, executive-ready reporting packs that simply and clearly articulate, ability to reuse and reshape existing information to suit
- Simplify complex data into clear, concise key messages, ensuring leadership can make informed decisions quickly.
- Build narrative-driven insights that explain trends, highlight emerging risks, and find opportunities for improvement
- Partner with senior leaders to understand reporting needs and shape KPI frameworks
- Analyse complex data sets to generate meaningful insights
- Design and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and visualisations
- Translate raw data into structured stories using charts, graphs, and visual representations aligned with executive expectations and group reporting.
- Maintain data accuracy through validation and quality checks
- Support the design and continuous improvement of metric frameworks, ensuring consistency, clarity, and strong data lineage
- Monitor adherence to KPIs, identify deviations, and communicate impacts
- Support operational reviews, quarterly business reviews, and leadership forums with succinct, data-backed reporting materials
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to gather data, test assumptions, and validate insights
- Communicate findings confidently to senior stakeholders, adapting tone and detail to suit the audience
- Act as a trusted advisor in shaping performance metrics, operational dashboards, and reporting standards
- Seek opportunities to simplify reporting processes and automate recurring data preparation tasks
- Champion a culture of data‑driven decision making across teams
- Produce process documentation, templates, and best‑practice reporting standards
- 5–8 years’ experience in analytics, reporting, PMO, business operations, or financial analysis within technology, financial services, or similarly complex organisations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience producing executive‑level presentations and concise messaging
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and facilitating discussions based on data-driven insights
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem‑solving capability; able to simplify complex information at speed
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills, with ability to craft polished, visual leadership decks
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (ideally including Power Query, Power Pivot, data modelling).
- Experience working with multiple data sources, such as Power BI, ERP systems, or operational databases
- Demonstrated ability to create dashboards, visualisations, and structured reporting artefacts
- Highly self‑motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working independently without close supervision
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight timelines
