What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable and employee travel & expense.

Responsibilities

  • Load pricing and membership data into SAP to ensure accurate pricing flow and correct billing for end users
  • Monitors work queues to ensure team is properly positioned to meet service levels
  • Utilize contract analytics to proactively resolve incomplete or inaccurate contract load issues
  • Supports management and team on escalations and general questions and issues for both stateside and global team
  • Assists in problem-solving simple to complex supplier and customer contract issues
  • Maintains statistics on key departmental metrics
  • Creates management reporting as necessary
  • Works closely with IT on any enhancement initiatives
  • Maintain operational rigor around Working in Progress (WIP), Aging, First in First Out (FIFO), and Service Level Agreements
  • Works independently and develops hypotheses based on data analysis to drive process improvement and increase accuracy
  • Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity and identifies possible solutions
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of supplier and customer contracts
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of the database that supports the application, and understands how the data elements impact customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience, preferred
  • Strong organization skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience working with MS Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • SAP experience , preferred

  • Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes action to resolve

  • Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy

Anticipated salary range: $57,000-$73,440

The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
