Job Description

The role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to own one of our major accounts (large P&L), work cross-functionally (within Europe and the US) and gain visibility with our senior leadership team. The role is particularly exciting because it is a new account so you will be yours to own from day one, set the strategy, build the relationships and deliver results. Due to this, the role offers a huge opportunity for quick development and growth within the company.

The role reports into the Senior Director for Nordic Account Partnerships and they are looking for someone with the experience that can take the lead on managing the account independently. We are growing rapidly nothing is set in stone - we have processes in place but we are looking for people who are willing to challenge them, develop their own ways of working and bring their own experience to the role.

The ideal candidate will raise the bar in terms of relationship building, analytical rigour and taking ownership for projects and initiatives. The relationship with the client will be key to making the account a success. In particular, we are looking for someone who can develop strong relationships with all levels of the business - Directors, C-suite, store managers and advisors. The role requires someone with a commercial and analytical mindset that can take the data that we receive, identify opportunities and trends and translate that into actionable insight. The successful candidate will have a high degree of ownership - someone who is motivated by leading projects through to their delivery.

There will be a degree of travel to the Nordics, particularly at the start, as we look to develop
meaningful relationships with the client. They have a strong retail presence so you will be working closely with our field team to ensure that this channel is meeting its potential.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as the owner of the business relationship between SquareTrade and your partner(s). You will be responsible for managing the weekly relationships, delivering for the partner and supporting them on their needs.
  • Taking the data supplied by our partners to report both internally and externally. We need someone who can not only understand what the data is saying but take that to form a compelling story that appeals to the audience they are presenting to.
  • Using these analytical skills to internally understand the trends of the business, where the opportunities are and what needs to be done to address them. 
  • Taking the insight you are generating to partner meetings to influence the change that is needed.
  • Be a real owner of the account and projects you lead. Ensuring that stakeholders are meeting the deadlines outlined, that you are delivering the work that is needed and not allowing obstacles to slow things down.
  • Ensure the operational excellence of the account by working with the Ops team (CS, CX and Supply Chain) to report on performance and ensure we are providing the best service to the customer
  • Identify the big projects that are needed to move the needle on the account. Work with the necessary teams to create a project plan, own their delivery, set them live and measure success.
  • The ability to think about the long-term and identify the strategic projects that will drive the most value to the business and your partner
  • Support the Director on additional accounts within the business, applying the skills outlined above on their accounts
  • As you establish yourself in the role, take on cross-functional projects that will deliver value for multiple accounts/teams across the business

Qualifications

Skills Requirements:

  • Norwegian Native/first language
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with diverse stakeholders (senior/junior, tech/non-tech)
  • Strong business and commercial acumen
  • Good analytical and data manipulation skills
  • Good planning and organising skills

Experience Requirements:

  • Some experience in a highly analytical role within a top-tier consulting firm or retail/FMCG
  • Experience of successful client relationship management
