Enterprise Solutions Architect, Payment and Invoice Management
We’re looking for an Enterprise Solutions Architect, Payment and Invoice Management in a newly created role which will continue to scale Navan Travel Payments and the future of this product line. You will partner closely with our Sales, Product, Finance, Support and Operations teams, all the way up to our C-Suite - to ensure we are delighting our clients and exceeding goals.
You will be a key player in helping Sales and Account Managers expand payment product offerings within current strategic travel accounts and increase adoption within all segments by combining your expertise of accounting and finance with your knowledge of our travel invoicing and corporate credit card.
Navan has seen 10x growth in the last year and is currently being used by 8000+ companies, such as Epicor, Amplitude, Loom, Toast & Lyft. By understanding client needs and leveraging your knowledge, you will help assist with an effective strategy that will ultimately drive revenue.
The ideal Candidate will be a subject matter expert with an accounting and finance background who is looking to be a leader of their career as they become the foundation of a new team while joining a global, multi-product, multi-market SaaS company.
What You will Do:
- Gain a deep understanding of Navan Expense’s card / payment solutions and invoice management features, becoming an advocate for the product’s benefits to prospective and existing clients.
- Leverage your expertise in finance and accounting to assist in the integration of our corporate card and invoice management solutions, focusing on maximizing efficiency and compliance for our clients’ Accounts Payable processes.
- Conduct training for the Account Management and Account Executive team to ensure they are well-versed in the features and benefits of combining credit card solutions with invoice management, driving better client engagement and increased product adoption.
- Act as the voice of our expense customers and partner cross-functionally with product, finance, enablement, operations and implementation teams to drive product development
- Engage in the discovery phase with clients to identify specific needs related to AP management, expense and VAT, tailoring our solutions to address these requirements effectively.
- Confirm with finance teams the process to book Navan and third party statements in ERP tools. Support with the month end close change management process.
What We are Looking For:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting or financial consulting, with a robust understanding of ERP system integrations and AP processes
- Extensive experience in VAT handling and reclaim, including operational month-end close and VAT filings
- Familiar with credit card payment solutions;
- Statement vs. Invoice
- Booking a statement in ERP Tools
- 3+ years of experience in a customer facing role such as a Solutions Consultant or Architect, Implementation Manager or Professional Services Consultant position within a rapidly growing SaaS company, working with large strategic customers is ideal
- Experience in leading technical discussions and identifying the right solution for our customers’ needs
- CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA or related professional accounting certification recommended
- Qualified tax advisors are very welcome
- Degree qualified in Finance, Tax, Accounting or a similar qualification
- German language skills and expertise of German Accounting and Tax practices is essential
