About the Role

    As a Senior Account Manager for our Maritime division in EMEA, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue expansion across key accounts in Northwest Europe. You will partner with industry leaders, transforming complex maritime data into high-value commercial solutions that power their strategic decisions. By nurturing long-term relationships and proactively identifying expansion opportunities, you directly accelerate Kpler’s growth footprint across the regional trade ecosystem.
     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drive portfolio revenue growth across Northwest Europe by managing key maritime accounts and consistently exceeding annual sales targets.

    • Identify, cultivate, and close strategic upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with evolving client intelligence needs.

    • Serve as a commercial business partner, contributing directly to sales forecasting, multi-year planning, demand analysis, and pipeline metrics.

    • Gather direct market, product, and competitor intelligence from client interactions to inform Kpler's product roadmap and commercial strategy.

    • Maintain rigorous CRM data integrity in Salesforce to support transparent forecasting and seamless cross-functional collaboration.

    • Negotiate multi-year contracts and commercial terms that secure profitable agreements while maintaining full compliance with company policies.

Experience & Background

  • Extensive commercial experience within B2B account management or sales roles.

  • Direct domain exposure to the maritime, energy, or commodities sectors (with maritime experience strongly preferred).

  • Proven background selling data, analytics, or SaaS platforms within technology or data vendor environments.

  • Demonstrated track record of driving account expansion, generating outbound opportunities, and closing complex deals.

  • Strong negotiation capabilities paired with an active, proactive commercial mindset.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and willingness to travel across Northwest Europe as needed.

  • Nice-to-haves:

    • Hands-on proficiency with modern commercial enablement tools (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).

    • Fluency in additional European languages.
