Job Description

Shape the Future of Customer Operations

We are now looking for an experienced and commercially minded Sales Operations Director to lead our UK & Ireland Sales Operations function and play a key role in driving customer satisfaction, operational excellence and business performance. As a member of the UK & Ireland Leadership Team, you will help shape strategic direction while ensuring outstanding execution across customer operations and supply chain delivery.  

About the Role 

This is a highly visible leadership position with responsibility for customer service, order management and customer supply chain operations across the UK & Ireland business. You will lead teams responsible for ensuring products and services are delivered efficiently and effectively to customers, while driving continuous improvement across the end-to-end customer journey.  

Acting as the voice of the customer within the leadership team, you will work across Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics and Manufacturing to ensure customer needs are reflected in business priorities and operational decision making.  

This role offers an opportunity to influence both strategic direction and day-to-day operational performance, creating sustainable improvements that enhance customer experience, strengthen service levels and support profitable growth.  

What You'll Do 

As Sales Operations Director, you will: 

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Sales Operations organisation across the UK & Ireland.  

  • Drive operational excellence across customer service, order management and customer-facing supply chain activities.  

  • Champion the customer experience, ensuring service excellence remains at the heart of business decision making.  

  • Build strong partnerships with key customers and internal stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and drive performance.  

  • Support business growth through improved service delivery, product availability and operational efficiency.  

  • Use data, insights and performance metrics to identify opportunities, solve challenges and enhance business outcomes.  

  • Lead transformation and continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable results for customers and the business.  

  • Partner with demand planning and supply chain teams to maximise forecasting effectiveness and product availability.  

  • Develop organisational capability through coaching, talent development and succession planning.  

  • Contribute as a member of the UK & Ireland Leadership Team, helping shape future strategy and business priorities.  

Who We're Looking For 

We're seeking an experienced senior leader with a strong track record in customer operations, supply chain or sales operations leadership. 

You will bring: 

  • Significant experience leading Sales Operations, Customer Operations, Supply Chain or related functions.  

  • A proven ability to lead large teams and build high-performance cultures.  

  • Experience operating within complex, matrix organisations and influencing senior stakeholders.  

  • Strong commercial awareness and a customer-centric mindset.  

  • A track record of delivering operational excellence, business transformation and continuous improvement.  

  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.  

  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to turn insights into action and results.  

  • Experience within consumer goods, retail, manufacturing or similarly fast-paced environments would be advantageous
