About Lorum

The structural conflict at the centre of correspondent banking is not technological. It is economic. Banks earn revenue from their balance sheets: they lend deposits, capture FX spreads, and hold funds as long as it is rational to do so. Clearing, the act of releasing funds quickly and predictably, competes directly with those economics. An institution designed to lend has a structural incentive to hold deposits; an institution designed to clear has an incentive to release them. When one institution does both, clearing loses. The result is unpredictable settlement, trapped capital, and a correspondent network shrinking by design.

Why Lorum

Lorum was founded on a different premise: clearing as the business, not a byproduct. The model has been operational since 2023 and grew 55x in 2025, with USD clearing now the majority of volumes alongside a growing treasury offering. We have applied for a U.S. national trust bank charter. The people we hire now will build the clearing and treasury infrastructure it unlocks.

About the role

You will be the operational backbone of our commercial organisation, owning the data, systems, and processes across the full customer lifecycle, from lead through onboarding, activation, growth, and retention, so a team spanning the UAE, EU, US, and Singapore can move fast with one version of the truth. You'll report directly with the CRO and commercial leadership, partner closely with Marketing and our AI team, and work cross-functionally with Finance and Compliance.

Your end goal is a headless CRM: Salesforce as a clean, reliable system of record that commercial teams rarely need to open. Data flows in automatically from the tools where work actually happens (email, calls, enrichment, product usage), and insights, alerts, and next actions flow back out to reps through the surfaces they already use. You'll build the pipes, automations, and AI layers that make that possible.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who loves structure, data, and building from scratch.

What success looks like in your first 12 months
  • Commercial reporting runs on a single source of truth: leadership trusts the dashboards, and forecast accuracy is consistently within an agreed threshold.

  • Salesforce is a trusted system of record: qualified leads route correctly with clear ownership and timestamps, and stage data is reliable enough to forecast from without depending on reps doing manual data entry.

  • Core commercial workflows (lead → onboarding → activation → growth → retention) are documented, standardised across regions, and have clear handoffs and SLAs.

  • Retention is instrumented: Account Managers see volume trends and churn-risk signals per client early enough to act, and leadership tracks net volume retention as a headline metric.

  • The headless CRM is taking shape: activity, enrichment, and pipeline data sync automatically, and reps get insights and next actions pushed to them instead of digging through the CRM.

What you'll do

Reporting & analytics. Own the commercial reporting framework and the definitions and data logic behind every revenue metric. Build and maintain dashboards covering pipeline health, forecasting (revenue, activations, volumes), Account Managers (AMs) performance, the activation funnel, retention and client growth (net volume retention, expansion, churn risk), and marketing attribution. Turn the numbers into actionable insight for the CRO and leadership.

CRM & data integrity. Own Salesforce and its supporting stack (Clay, Metabase, N8N) with a headless-first mindset: data quality comes from automated capture, sync, and enrichment, not from policing manual entry. Enforce hygiene through automation, governance rules, and quality checks, and train commercial hires on the workflows that remain.

Pipeline & forecasting. Enforce pipeline discipline: accurate stages, probabilities, and routing. Identify leaks and friction points and fix them. Partner with Sales on close rates and deal velocity.

Retention & growth. Instrument the post-activation lifecycle: per-client volume trends, expansion opportunities, and early churn-risk signals. Give AMs the data and alerts to grow accounts proactively rather than react to volume drops.

Process & automation. Design, document, and continuously optimise commercial workflows end to end, including cross-team handoffs with Compliance, Legal, and Finance. Build automations that reduce manual work. We expect AI to be a core part of your toolkit: you'll use Claude Code to build and maintain integrations, automations, and internal tooling yourself, and partner with our AI team to bring agents into commercial workflows.

What we're looking for

Must-haves

  • 5+ years in Revenue, Commercial, or Sales Operations, ideally in B2B fintech or payments.

  • Deep Salesforce proficiency, including admin-level configuration, automation, APIs, and reporting.

  • Strong analytical skills: pipeline modelling, forecasting, funnel analysis.

  • Proven process design and automation skills. You've built scalable workflows and integrations from scratch in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, and you instinctively automate data capture rather than mandate it.

  • Detail-oriented, structured, and comfortable working cross-functionally across regions and time zones.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, or with agentic automation in a GTM context.

  • Experience with Metabase, Looker, Notion, Zapier, n8n, or Juro.

  • Familiarity with bps-based pricing and FX revenue models.

  • Experience supporting multi-market GTM teams (EU, UAE, SG, US).

Comp & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary (we'll discuss in more detail during the process)

  • Flexible vacation policy

  • Private Healthcare

  • Employee stock ownership (ESOP)

  • Flexible working and autonomy

  • Pay it forward days - we offer 2 annual pay it forward days where you can take time to volunteer for a charitable cause that is important to you.

  • Wellness days - we believe you can only work your best when you feel your best, and we know working at Lorum is intense, so we offer 3 wellness days every quarter where you can take time to re-energize
