The Job

The Renewals Specialist is responsible for executing “volume renewal" transactions for the assigned markets or accounts. You are a subject matter expert on the commercial processes and practices. You engage with AVEVA sales team and customers through a systematic process to achieve renewal business metrics measured by renewal timing, renewal rate and renewal price. You maintain accurate account status details within salesforce and escalate observations to your line manager for resolution by other account stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve renewal quota and renewal objectives such as on-time renewals and escalated contract renewals.
  • Identify expansion opportunities and escalate the opportunities to the appropriate team to manage
  • Responsible for renewals process from first contact to close for the assigned customers:
    • Understand customer requirements
    • Introduce customers to the renewal cycle/process
    • Create and issue renewals quotations
    • Forecast Renewals Opportunity status
    • Track and expedite purchase orders
    • Close renewals opportunities On-time
  • Maintain accurate data in Salesforce.com regarding customer renewal information, renewal status and renewal reports.
  • Provide process or quotation related support to Sales Account Managers and Customer Success Managers
  • Other Duties may include:
    • Support evolving renewal processes aimed at improving renewal efficiency
    • Provide accurate reporting specifically for Late Renewals, Renewal migration and Churn including reasons for cancelation for analysis
    • Assist Business with any other activity required to fulfil role

Skills & Experience

  • Proficient knowledge and the application of renewal process, policies and pricing
  • Experienced in customer facing administrative role, for example Sales Administrator, Customer support administrator or Marketing coordinator. Early career sales professional looking to gain solid experience of a volume business model.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com
  • Put people first, working effectively with individuals and teams, customers and partners
  • Plan ahead and work in a systematic and organized way. 
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and deliver a quality renewal customer experience.
  • Commercially aware and business minded
  • Get to the heart of complex problems and issues. Apply own expertise effectively for problem-solving.
  • Able to Communicate and network effectively.

Hybrid working

By default, employees are expected to be in their local AVEVA office three days a week, but some positions are fully office-based. Roles supporting particular customers or markets are sometimes remote.
