  • Visual Merchandising Execution:

The Regional Field Visual Merchandising Manager will lead and execute visual merchandising strategies across retail and wholesale locations throughout North America. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent brand presentation, driving commercial performance through visual storytelling, and partnering closely with retail field leaders, store operations, and the global visual experience team.   They will protect the integrity of the brand by executing and maintaining compelling in-store visual presentations aligned with Global Visual Execution team. Execution includes adapting the strategies to regional needs, store architecture, traffic flow, and localized business insights.

  • VM Leadership & Store Engagement:
    • Leading execution of visual direction including monthly floorsets, initiatives, tests, windows, etc.
    • Support during concepting and ideation of  M strategies and initiatives to improve efficiencies, communication processes and better serve the retail field teams.
    • Lead VM calls with field communicating and problem solving monthly floorsets, mapping and VM initiatives.  
    • Prioritize top doors for floorset walkthroughs, leadership visits, and external visits (focal markets, high-traffic locations, and flagship doors).
    • Conduct store visits and follow-ups, providing hands-on coaching and VM training for Store Leadership and Visual Leads in retail and key wholesale stores and share key learnings shared to GVE and NA Leads.
    • Host Zoom/Teams walk-thru’s and virtual touchpoints for remote locations and opportunity locations.
    • Manage photo review process for all stores under your scope. Recap to NA Retail head and GVE team photos to measure progress and execution at store level.
    • Provide timely and constructive feedback to store leaders on photo reviews to ensure consistent brand execution across the fleet.
  • VM Training & Development:
    • Support in breaking the prescriptive mold and lead in building store confidence in making brand and business appropriate decisions.
    • Assess talent by store and identify within region top performers and biggest opportunities.
    • Facilitate regular cadence training conference calls for new visual leads that need basic visual training for maximum impact.  Lead VM training seminars, and in-person sessions to teach, train, and inspire field teams.  
    • Elevate store team knowledge and execution to meet and exceed Kate Spade VM standards.
    • Determine & share themes from photo critiques to identify key training opportunities and execute on those during the next floor set timing.
    • Support in creation and training of the Visual Merchandising Program (VMP), creating visual leaders that can be leveraged for special projects and initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership:
    • Collaborate with Global Visual Merchandising to ensure strategic alignment on seasonal directions and key brand messages.
    • Support with setup and execution of key initiatives and tests that start with NA.
    • Collaborate with NA Buying and Wholesale to balance brand storytelling with commercial priorities to drive both customer engagement and sales. `
    • Support GVE team for Market , activations and as needed special projects.   
  • Planning & Execution Support
    • Own creative layout planning for seasonal windows and in-store presentation mapping. Including distro’s for ordering 3D/ 2D and marketing distro’s. 
    • Support with promotion and signage communication to stores, problem solving and reacting quickly to any promotional call outs.
    • Assist in the art direction and installation of seasonal windows and other animations for priority doors. Ensure cohesion across all doors in region for seasonal animations.
    • Manage FRSO (Fixture & Replenishment Store Orders) and validate floor plans for new store openings and relocations.
    • NYC Market Only:  Manage monthly global directive setup with field, samples needed, and logistics.  Participate in store walkthroughs thinking through lens of stores.
  • Creative 
    • Protect integrity of brand thinking through filters like visual weight, product density, color transitions.
    • Practicing leading with beauty for all in-store VM ensure stores are properly “Kate-ified” through animations, functionality and display.
    • Properly styled bust forms that not only capture the right product but also how the product is stylized through the lens of our customer.
  • Wholesale & Travel 
    • Conduct regular store visits and visual audits to maintain merchandising standards
    • Wholesale (including international/LTAM) - Own all wholesale and travel retail locations in region. 
    • Partner with wholesale teams to ensure Kate Spade’s visual expectations are consistently executed across diverse retail partners, adapting guidelines as needed for varying footprint, layout, and customer profiles.
    • Oversee VM standards and presentation quality within travel retail environments, ensuring high impact displays that capture global brand essence and meet the unique demands of high traffic, fast paced locations.

Role Logistics

  • Target cadence:
    • 40-60% travel throughout region monthly (2 weeks per month/ 3 days x week in remote markets, 1 week in home market, 1 week office or home market). Home market as priority.
    • Manage personal travel budget monthly, proactively flagging any budget concerns.

$80,000.00-$104,000.00
