Job Summary:

Company: Academy Music Group

Location: Brixton, London

Reports to: General Manager

Working Hours: 40 hours

Contract Type: 12 months fixed term contract

Role Description

The role involves providing an effective and efficient service for O2 Academy Brixton and Academy Music Group Head Office, together with administrational duties, in addition to day-to-day office duties such as; distributing post, monitoring office supplies and organising core reception duties.

The role can vary dramatically with the high and low seasons of work within the office so the ideal candidate should be able to work in a high-pressure environment, to multitask, as well as be able to keep themselves busy in quiet periods.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook/ Word/ Excel
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy skills
  • Reception experience (desirable)

What the role includes

  • To be main point of contact for permanent, visiting staff and contractors
  • To ensure the smooth transition of calls and emails to the relevant people/department and dealing with general enquiries for the venue and Head Office
  • To greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner and inform the relevant people of their arrival as quickly as possible
  • To organise, distribute and process post and deliveries, including post office runs
  • To ensure offices are presentable, managed, facilities are stocked and Health and Safety is adhered to
  • To log and organise lost property after shows and maintain records, coordinating collection, postage and disposal of lost property
  • To assist the Operations Administrator with administrative tasks such as fielding and logging staff guest list requests, distributing monthly phone and email list updates, courier bookings and other ad hoc duties when required.
