A word from one of our previous interns:
"As the intern in the R&D Global Process team you are given a wealth of different opportunities across various stages of process development for breakthrough technologies. Your responsibilities include project scoping, trial planning, Pilot Plant trials, and data analysis, giving a great balance of desk and hands on work.
You are given opportunities to develop your critical thinking and technical rigour through research and hypotheses planning to understand what is happening during the different processes and solving problems with novel solutions. This understanding is applied to experimental design to prove hypotheses in the Pilot Plant. This role can be very hands on, with opportunities to run equipment and understand how they work, how to optimise their performance and how to troubleshoot during running.
Overall, my internship broadened my understanding of engineering and process development by offering me a range of invaluable experiences that developed my critical thinking, experimental design and technical communication skills."
