Our Manufacturing/Engineering Internship - Taste The Future Program UK is 12 months long and we'll make you an integral part of our team and give you a real job - with real responsibilities - from day one. We hope to help you expand your horizons and encourage your personal and professional development.
We want to make sure you get the most from your time with us. That's why once you join we'll work out ambitious but achievable goals for you. Then through the support of a buddy and regular reviews with your manager, we'll help you achieve them.
The Role:
Improving our manufacturing capability is a continuous journey that presents both challenges and rewards. As an undergraduate with an engineering background, you'll benefit from bringing a fresh perspective to the process. You'll be an integral part of the team from day one, actively contributing in meetings and helping us find practical solutions to manufacturing issues. The challenges we face often lie in plant optimization and design, asset care, and environmental management. The reward is seeing your ideas come to fruition and deliver tangible benefits to the business.

  • There are a few things you'll need to join our tantalisingly innovative company. We look for all sorts of qualities in our interns including Proactivity, Problem Solving, Agility and Communication skills.

  • We like people who aren't afraid to stand alone, who deal with ambiguity instead of ignoring it and who know how to approach any problem, no matter how difficult.

Candidate requirements:
You will have predicted or achieved 2:1 Degree (or equivalent) in one of the following disciplines:• Chemical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Integrated Engineering
• Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering
• Or similar degree
Starting salary: £ 24,784
This position does not meet the minimum salary requirements for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Therefore, we are unable to consider applicants who require sponsorship. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
Key dates:
  • Closing date for applications: 12 of October 2026
  • Final assessment center: 3rd of December 2026, in person at Bournville (reasonable travel expenses covered)
  • Programme start: July 2027
