Job Title: Project Management Apprentice (24-month contract)

Your New Role

Join Global’s Outdoor Transformation Programme Office as a Project Management Apprentice and kickstart your career in project delivery.

Reporting to the Head of PMO, you’ll gain hands-on experience in project coordination, governance, and delivery while studying for a Level 4 Project Management qualification.

This is a unique opportunity to learn by doing, supporting real transformation projects across our Outdoor advertising portfolio.

This role will have exposure to the full spectrum of activity across Outdoor including the Programmes team environment, project management and project delivery, governance, administration, coordination, and activities that aid in delivering projects, such as planning, tracking, and reporting.

The role requires strong organisational skills and attention to detail, working collaboratively with various teams and a real passion for learning how different projects are managed and delivered.

This is an exceptional opportunity offering a blend of technical project delivery and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Management Apprentice, you’ll:

  • Support the delivery of multimillion-pound Outdoor advertising projects.
  • Learn how to plan, track, and report on project progress.
  • Collaborate with teams across project delivery, engineering, finance, legal, commercial, and operations.
  • Attend meetings with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
  • Create trackers, registers, and dashboards to keep projects on track.
  • Work alongside experienced Project Managers and contractor partners.
  • Gain a solid understanding of project governance and delivery processes.
  • Contribute directly to the success of our transformation initiatives.

In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Understood the PMO framework - Demonstrated a working knowledge of the project lifecycle, gates, and templates used within the PMO Hub.
  • Delivered small tasks independently - Taken ownership of actions such as updating trackers, preparing meeting notes, and supporting reviews.
  • Showed curiosity and initiative - Asked thoughtful questions, sought feedback, and proactively explored how projects were delivered and governed.
  • Communicated clearly and professionally - Shared updates, drafted reports, and engaged with stakeholders in a structured and confident manner.
  • Proved reliable and organised - Managed time effectively, met deadlines, and maintained tidy, accessible documentation.
