Team Overview

The team leads the development and evolution of TransUnion’s Credit Information services, delivering consumer-first solutions that improve financial outcomes at scale.
As a market leader in B2B2C consumer credit scores, the team plays a central role in advancing credit education in the UK and enabling revenue growth through product and sales support. This team reports into the Director of Product and Presales – Consumer Interactive. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

Our Product Managers are experts in the different market leading product lines that TransUnion offer, responsible for driving revenue growth through the creation and delivery of quality products and effective sales enablement. The successful applicant will have a proven track record in product management and sales enablement, ideally with a background in business to consumer products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make the case for new product lines and enhancements based on commercial need.

  • Ensure product roadmaps reflect market, client challenges, competitive landscape and sales requirements and that costs are accurately assessed and monitored.

  • Prioritise resources across the product line, balancing the conflicting requirements of different product and markets, and business and technical priorities where necessary.

  • Main interface between Product Development and line of business and the market – ensure product strategy and roadmaps are communicated.

  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal and external business issues to improve products/services or processes. 

  • Engages with key stakeholders to drive development and completion of projects, aligning with business strategy, Group policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Provides support and leadership where appropriate on specific projects, method changes or systems developments.


Required Knowledge And Experiences

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record in product management and sales enablement.

  • Capable of working to financial targets.

  • Commercially astute with track record of delivery of numbers based on forecasting and budget requirements.

  • Understanding of key markets and trends with an enthusiasm for innovation and new technology.

  • Highly articulate with effective verbal and written communication skills to influence a range of senior internal and external stakeholders.

  • Disciplined with strong planning and organisation skills and the ability balance multiple conflicting priorities.
