From automating and simplifying core operations including billing to create a lower-cost, higher-engagement experience, to optimising energy usage across smart devices in the home, we turn tough challenges into win-win-win outcomes for customers, suppliers and the energy system.

We have a strong flexible, hybrid working ethos, we aim to be as flexible as possible to balance work with life. As a company we come together annually for our conference and end of year celebrations!

What will I be doing?

The global energy transition is disrupting retail energy markets. To thrive, retailers must rapidly diversify product lines and deliver compelling customer-centric propositions. Maximizing Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) is key to unlocking future growth. Kaluza’s integrated platform, with cutting-edge sales management and retail automation, empowers energy retailers to turn this disruption into a competitive advantage.

Kaluza is building a suite of SaaS technology products that forms the platform revolutionising the way energy retailers operate globally. This platform has been built with scale and technical quality in mind and is the foundation for decarbonisation efforts by Kaluza’s customers.  You’ll be working on Kaluza’s Retail Automation solution, focussed on scaling our Core Commercial capabilities - growing the range of energy and non-energy products & propositions supported by the platform.

You’ll be joining the Kaluza Product community. We’re a group of Product Managers and Leaders focused on translating complex needs into simple and innovative solutions that solve real customer and business problems.

What will I be doing?

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for

  • Building market leading energy retail core commercial capabilities. You will understand what great looks like in the energy retailer commercial domain and plot a path for how Kaluza can keep pushing the boundaries for our customers.  You will grow the range of products supported by the platform and how flexibly they can be deployed by energy retailers.
  • Knowing your customer. You will be very familiar with the different customer groups in Energy Retailers and how their needs differ.  You will effectively communicate product plans, progress, and risks to stakeholders across the organization. You’ll be able to build strong relationships.
  • Driving performance.  Define, track and take ownership of KPIs to measure the success of the platform. Analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on the product based on user feedback and market trends.
  • Collaborating. Working with cross-functional teams to see a piece of value from concept to delivery and, most importantly, to customer and client impact.
  • Ownership. Set the product roadmap working, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the right outcomes.

About You

Ideally you’ll

  • Love having an impact. With millions of end customers, improvements you make will have huge reach.
  • Are inquisitive. You question things, don’t accept the status quo, are always looking for how things can be improved. You love understanding your customers through speaking with them and analysing their data.
  • Care about the product craft and also value pragmatism. We are always looking for how we can improve and are laser focused on delivering value.
  • Are both deeply analytical and user centric. You love diving into understanding the right data model as much as you love exploring customer needs.  You are “data first” - both in defining and understanding problems and how you measure success.

What will set you apart

  • Knowing the energy industry. Having an existing understanding of the energy industry isn’t a must but is a plus.  You will demonstrate the drive to learn about a fascinating, complex and ever evolving industry.
