WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The Product Designer owns day-to-day design across the Performance team's growing suite of
proprietary data and analytics products, taking work from wireframe through to production-
ready handoff at pace. Alongside the core product work, you will take ownership of FanBuilder,
our fan engagement product, and lend design firepower to campaigns and new business when
the team needs it. Range matters: you will move between a client dashboard, a fan engagement
mechanic and a pitch response, working closely with product, engineering and clients to ship
polished, consistent work.

The position reports into John Boardman, Director, Creative and Innovation, Performance, and is
based in the UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES

PRODUCT DESIGN (60%)

 Design screens, flows and components across our web-based product suite, from early
wireframes to production-ready specs.
 Build and maintain prototypes to test and communicate design decisions quickly.
 Produce clean, developer-ready handoffs in Figma with clear states, interactions and edge
cases covered.
 Work within and extend the product design system to keep the suite visually consistent.
 Iterate at pace, turning feedback from product and engineering into refined designs quickly.

PRODUCT OWNERSHIP — FANBUILDER (15%)

 Take ownership of FanBuilder, our fan engagement product, and help shape its future
direction.
 Maintain and evolve its design as the product grows and scales.
 Concept and design fan engagement mechanics such as quizzes, predictors and interactive
campaigns.

CLIENT, CAMPAIGN AND NEW BUSINESS (15%)

 Design client-facing visual outputs including dashboards, reports and presentation materials.
 Support the look and feel of product demos and client walkthroughs.
 Support pitches and RFP responses with strong, persuasive design.

DESIGN QUALITY AND INTERNAL (10%)

 Run design QA on shipped features, ensuring what is live matches what was designed.
 Maintain the design system, component and asset libraries.
 Keep design documentation current so the wider team can self-serve.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

 3+ years of product or digital design experience for digital products.
 Expert in Figma, including components, variables, auto-layout, prototyping and developer
handoff.
 A genuine blend of UX thinking and UI polish in one designer.
 Experience working within design systems and contributing to them.
 Strong foundations in typography, layout and responsive web design.
 Experience handing off to engineering teams building in modern web frameworks such as
React.
 Confidence working directly with clients, presenting and iterating live.
 Comfortable moving fast and switching between very different briefs.
 Where possible and appropriate, confidently leverage and collaborate with AI platforms to
increase work efficiency and output.
 Interest in sport and entertainment is advantageous.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 Ability to turn designs into working prototypes, in code or no-code, to get ideas in front of
people faster.
 A background in sport, entertainment or sponsorship.
 Motion or short-form social content skills.
 Data visualisation or dashboard experience.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

 A designer who takes pride in finish and consistency, and can own day-to-day design across
several products at once.
 A genuine blend of UX thinking and UI polish, comfortable moving fast between very
different briefs.
 Someone who understands how AI can be advantageous, but how their skillset, combined
with AI-driven efficiencies, will drive even greater results than AI alone.
 A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset to help grow our team's offering and deliver strong
work for our clients.
