Job Description

As part of the Marketing & Corporate Services Procurement Team, you will work across a diverse portfolio of spend categories, partnering with stakeholders throughout the business to drive commercial value, manage risk, and support strategic objectives.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced, dynamic organisation where you can build on your procurement expertise across a broad range of marketing and corporate services categories. You will develop a deep understanding of how a global online retailer operates and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

  • Developing and executing category strategies across Marketing and Corporate Services, leveraging market knowledge, supplier insight, and business understanding to optimise spend, value, and outcomes.
  • Autonomously managing a varied pipeline of strategic, complex, and high-value procurement projects across multiple categories.
  • Prioritising and delivering procurement activity across numerous concurrent projects, maintaining a clear view of business priorities and adapting support accordingly.
  • Building and leading stakeholder relationships across the business, up to and including Executive and C-suite level, providing commercial leadership and trusted procurement expertise.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert across Marketing and Corporate Services procurement, offering insight into market trends, supplier capabilities, and commercial opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and strategic partners to drive innovation, value creation, and continuous improvement.
  • Identifying and delivering a pipeline of savings, cost avoidance, and value-generation opportunities, while reporting on achievements and business impact.
  • Proactively identifying and implementing pragmatic sourcing strategies aligned to business needs, risk profile, complexity, and stakeholder capacity.
  • Managing supplier and commercial risk, identifying areas of exposure and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Supporting supplier performance management activities to ensure contractual obligations, service levels, and business objectives are achieved.
  • Supporting our culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.

We believe being together in person helps us move faster, connect more deeply, and achieve more as a team. That’s why our approach to working together includes spending at least 3 days a week in the office. It’s a rhythm that speeds up decision-making, helps ASOSers learn from each other more quickly, and builds the kind of culture where people can grow, create, and succeed.

Qualifications

About You

  • Experience working within a fast-paced procurement environment with multiple competing priorities, demonstrating the ability to autonomously manage, prioritise, and deliver a high-volume workload.
  • Strong category management experience across a broad range of Marketing and Corporate Services categories, including agency, media, creative, professional services, people services, facilities, and business support functions.
  • Ability to apply the appropriate level of procurement rigour and resource based on project complexity, value, risk, and stakeholder requirements while maintaining business engagement and support.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing category strategies that deliver commercial value, operational efficiencies, innovation, and risk mitigation across multiple spend areas.
  • Demonstrable experience leading complex sourcing events, negotiations, and high-value procurement projects from strategy through to contract execution within challenging timelines.
  • Strong understanding of procurement systems, governance, policies, and processes, with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and reprioritise effectively within a dynamic and rapidly changing business environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple complex issues simultaneously while collaborating effectively with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • A pragmatic, down-to-earth approach, with the ability to bring stakeholders on a journey and drive positive change through influence rather than authority.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong supplier management and negotiation capabilities, with experience developing partnerships that deliver measurable business value.
  • Excellent analytical, commercial, administrative, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
