As part of our ambitious growth plans across Europe, we are investing in senior talent to expand our Financial Services, Real Estate Indirect Tax Practice across the United Kingdom, Netherlands and Luxembourg.

The Job Description following is tied to a Director level role to give an idea of the responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acts as an advisor for internal and external clients, both in the United Kingdom and abroad, on all VAT related issues.
- Prepares formal correspondence to clients.
- Meets with clients and Tax Authorities on VAT related matters individually or with a team.
- Coordinates VAT projects with international partners and colleagues globally.
- Maintains involvement with VAT compliance projects such as VAT registration, VAT return preparation and VAT refund requests.
- Maintains involvement with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Business Process reviews and documents findings.
- Works with the Tax Tech team to provide support
- Takes an active approach to thought leadership and content production for marketing.
- Supports the sales processes to help ensure projects are won.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Must have five years or more of experience as a specialized VAT advisor. Knowledge and experience in Customs, Transfer Pricing and Withholding taxes is a plus, but not required. Must have excellent organization and time management skills, strong communication skills, and willingness to learn and must be a team player.
