This is a fantastic opportunity for a HR professional who embraces continuous learning and growth. The HR Advisor provides high‑quality, professional HR support to managers and employees across the business. Acting as a first point of contact for day‑to‑day people matters, the role delivers guidance on policy, employee relations, performance, and general HR operations. The HR Advisor works closely with the wider People team to ensure consistent, fair, and legally compliant people practices that contribute to a positive employee experience and strong organisational culture.
Reporting to the People Business Partner, this is an ideal role for someone with previous HR Advisor experience or a HR Admin ready to take the next step. You will have a solution focused mindset, be detail orientated and enjoy working in a fast paced but supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to People Business Partners on a variety of topics including employee relations cases and the cyclical People team activity.
- Monitor, analyse and manage absence. Identify trends and propose solutions as appropriate.
- Support with on/off boarding processes, including conducting first day induction, employee check-in meetings, and probation process tracking. Conduct exit interviews and ensure insights are appropriately considered to promote continuous improvement.
- Work with People team colleagues in the Operation and L&D verticals in support of continuous process improvement and support project deliver.
- Participate in various People team change initiatives, programs and policies as we continue to innovate our systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Previous generalist HR Advisor experience ideally in the Tech or a fast past industry.
- Proven experience in advising and coaching managers and colleagues on best practice, policy and process.
- Experience managing ER cases (end to end). Developing employment law knowledge is essential.
- Demonstrates creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships to work cross functions and confidently with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience of delivering and working through Change is desirable.
- Experience working with HRIS and LMS systems would be beneficial.
- CIPD qualification or working towards is desirable but not essential.
