Job Description

Role Purpose:

The Strategy Enablement function is at the heart of a complex European business and is fundamental in how we develop our near and mid-term priorities and investments in support of the longer-term strategy. Residing within the European Commercial team, the Partner Channel Senior Analyst will be responsible for developing the commercial framework to both attract and reward partners that are most closely aligned to our strategic goals. The role holder will play a crucial role directly supporting the most significant partner opportunities across Europe, working closely with Business Development and Finance to craft the value proposition. The role will report directly to the Head of Strategy Enablement.

This position requires strong business acumen, highly developed interpersonal skills and tenacity in order to be effective. The role holder will be expected to be comfortable engaging regularly with a broad set of senior stakeholders throughout the Elavon business as well as direct engagement with clients.

The position will be office-based within our London office, with an expectation of travel as required.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Own the development of a commercial framework for our partner channel:
    • Establish target revenue and contribution margin. Account for variations in operating model, scale of partnership and distribution of products and services. 
    • Embed framework to increase speed of decision making throughout the organisation. Leverage guidelines to enable more opportunities to be progressed within the business line.
  • Support construction of commercial proposal to large partner opportunities across Europe:
    • Key participant within Elavon “win team”; engage across multiple business functions and directly with the client in order to craft a mutually beneficial commercial proposal.
    • Lead senior management reviews of the commercial construct of the deal.
    • Review performance of successful deals and use learnings to support the development of future opportunities.
  • Provide thought leadership on future state commercial model:
    • Lead engagement with business areas to identify platform and process developments required to enable.
    • Develop business case and lead engagement with key stakeholders to gain commitment for implementation of the desired model.
  • Identify opportunities within existing partners to drive incremental value
    • Construct analysis of performance for top partners including revenue, contribution and strategic product / service distribution.
    • Develop pipeline of revenue and contribution growth opportunities and lead discussions with key stakeholders to identify path to unlock benefits.

Skills / Experience required:

  • Knowledge, understanding & interpretation of sales coverage models
  • Proven track record of influencing strategic business decisions
  • Comfortable engaging with clients and synthesing complex information into a clear commercial proposition
  • Experience with data analysis and developing business cases
  • Strong eye for detail; ability to spot and demonstrate trends to senior stakeholders alongside recommended course of action
  • Knowledge, understanding & interpretation of strategic business plans
  • Experience of managing senior stakeholders within a matrix organisation

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
