Salary: £28,250 per annum, plus Veolia benefits 

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Location: Marsh Road Depot 4/7 Marsh Road HA0 1ES

What you'll be doing; 

  • Perform duties in an efficient & effective manner that will ensure maximum productivity

  • To liaise daily with the Transport Manager , making sure all the Transport related tasks are completed within the deadline.

  • To be able to communicate with the workshop department and external contractors when required.

  • To ensure weekly filing of maintenance records and vehicle defect sheets is completed to stay compliant with the fleet department.

  • Daily vehicle inspections to be completed.

  • To work in partnership with the management team ensuring all accidents are reported to the Insurance company and files are updated daily.

  • Weekly downloads of vehicle tachographs to ensure we are fleet compliant.

  • To cover Collection and Streets services, Wembley Stadium, echo/admin related tasks while other Control members are not available.

  • To accurately complete appropriate forms/paperwork, Team Safe Behaviour, near-miss reporting into relevant report systems.

  • Comply with any site conditions, ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed.

  • Assisting with note taking (Investigation/disciplinaries).



What we're looking for; 

Essential:

  • 3.5T Category B Driving Licence - Non-Negotiable

  • Prior experience in a similar environment would be essential.

  • The ability to work as part of a team with good communication skills at all levels is necessary.

  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety at work.

  • IT Skills

Desirable:

  • HGV Driving Licence

  • Experience of Google Suite.

  • Echo experience
