Banana Moon Day Nurseries is looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our team. As a Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the developmental needs of children and fosters their love for learning.

Your responsibilities will include leading and mentoring a team of childcare practitioners, planning and delivering activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, and maintaining strong relationships with parents and carers to support children's progress and wellbeing.

This is a full time position with a saray of £30,000 per annum.


Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a childcare setting, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Current clear DBS check and up-to-date safeguarding and first aid training.
