Job Description
The Marketing Operations Manager will play a critical role in optimizing our marketing technology stack, managing lead generation processes, and ensuring data-driven decision-making across the marketing team. You will be responsible for streamlining marketing operations, improving efficiency through automation, and providing insights that help drive customer acquisition and retention. This role requires a detail-oriented, data-driven professional with experience in managing marketing operations in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Responsibilities
Process Optimisation & Automation:
- Design, implement, and manage lead generation campaigns, workflows and automation programs to support pipeline growth, lead nurturing, and customer acquisition efforts.
- Ensure accurate and timely flow of leads through the funnel, regularly assessing and improving lead qualification and distribution processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance the efficiency of marketing operations and campaign execution.
- Automate repetitive tasks, such as lead routing, reporting, and follow-ups, to ensure scalability and improved time management.
Data & Reporting:
- Create and maintain marketing dashboards and reports to provide visibility into campaign performance, lead flow, and key metrics (e.g., MQL, SQL, pipeline growth, revenue impact).
- Ensure data cleanliness and integrity in Salesforce and Pardot, and develop strategies for data enrichment and segmentation.
- Analyze campaign performance to derive insights and recommendations for optimizing marketing efforts, improving ROI, and driving growth.
Marketing Technology Management:
- Own the marketing tech stack and ensure seamless integration across key systems (Salesforce, Pardot, Cognism, Zapier, Qualified, Reachdesk, ChurnZero, etc.)
- Maintain and optimize the use of marketing automation tools for campaign management, lead nurturing, and email marketing.
- Collaborate with IT and Business Operations and other key stakeholders to ensure that the CRM and marketing tools are properly configured for lead management, data flow, and reporting.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ of experience in a marketing operations role, preferably within a SaaS or tech environment.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Pardot
- Strong understanding of lead management, lead scoring, and marketing funnels in a B2B SaaS environment
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to extract insights from large datasets
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
- Self-starter mentality and a person who thrives on collaboration within multi-functional teams
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication
