This role sits within the Group Customer and Communications Function, in the Intermediary & Landlord Marketing Team. The team of 17 operates as a fully integrated function, so you’ll work alongside our experts in digital, brand, campaign, content, and many other marketing disciplines.
The team has a focused strategy for each of our brands. Through Nationwide For Intermediaries, we aim to be distinct, conspicuous, and the most recommended brand, and through The Mortgage Works we aim to be the most admired buy-to-let lender. We will continue to celebrate the long-established partnerships we have with intermediaries, and alongside this, deliver a greater level of support and experience to our landlords with their mortgage needs.
Collaborating with the team, you will create and launch activity that creates a better, more personalised experience for our intermediaries and landlords through our email channel.
Alongside the team, you will be responsible for ensuring our intermediary audiences have a great awareness of our brands and propositions, thinking highly of our ability to communicate effectively.
We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best.
This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
At Nationwide, we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK-wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.
For this job, you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part-time, you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Bournemouth, London or Swindon office. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works. You can also find out more about our approach to hybrid working here.
If we receive a high volume of relevant applications, we may close the advert earlier than the advertised date, so please apply as soon as you can.
ResponsibilitiesWhat you’ll be doing
If you’re looking for your next career challenge, keen to learn marketing skills and feel you will thrive in a fast-paced marketing team, we want to hear from you.
You will support the creation and delivery of marketing emails. You’ll also write and send emails through our email platform, ensuring they are fully tested pre-send. You’ll be eager to see how the emails have performed and will use the tools to establish whether the activity was successful. Additionally, you’ll be collaborating with others across the team and using tools like Excel to articulate successful outcomes.
You will also help to ensure our literature is always up to date and you’ll be keen to understand the value each piece of literature brings, making recommendations for future improvements.
Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will result in all work being delivered on time, managing queries effectively and efficiently.
