Job Description

  

Job Summary:

We are looking for an individual with experience of working in a busy goods in/out department, supporting on stock management, warehouse organisation as well as administrative tasks to support the wider team. Please be aware that this role does require some manual handling

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be:

  • Booking in arrivals to our facility

  • Packaging consignments to despatch across the globe

  • Liaising with freight forwarders

  • Warehouse stock management and organisation.

  • Raising documentation to ship goods to our UK shipping partners.

  • Other activities as assigned by the department and/or site manager.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will need:

  • A background in warehousing and/or logistics.

  • Experience of forklift operation preferred.

  • Good IT skills (MRP systems advantageous)

  • Good time-management and organisation skills

SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication, written as well as verbal.

  • Attention to detail

  • A can-do attitude and a team player

  • Flexible approach to work, adaptable and willing to assist in other areas as required.
