Alfa are currently recruiting a Legal Administrator to join our Legal and Commercial team based in London on a hybrid contract. The Legal Administrator will support our team of Commercial Lawyers and Paralegals with a range of administrative tasks, mainly the accurate management of all documentation in our contract management system, Ironclad.
Responsibilities include:

Updating the workflow designer on Ironclad with up-to-date contracts and placing tags for auto-population and conditions

Ensuring IC workflow permissions and approvals and notices are set up correctly

Tagging completed contracts and supporting documentation and linking them together.

Responding to requests for queries in relation to existing agreements (finding clauses, confirming signature status)
-
Responding to requests from the business about the existence of contracts

Issuing NDA’s and other contractual documents as requested by the Legal and Commercial Team or the wider business.

Issuing contractual documents that do not need negotiation for signature through Ironclad and ensuring completion, tagging and filing.

Managing, setting up and running Ironclad reports as necessary and requested by the business.

Managing and keeping Ironclad up to date

Maintaining and updating the Team’s confluence page with updated documents, new pages etc.

Updating Ironclad and Confluence spaces with contractual playbook updates

Assisting Team Legal and Commercial with ad hoc administrative tasks including procurement function.
We would like you to have:

Experience with Contract Management Systems (preferably Ironclad) for document tagging, workflow setup, and contract filing.

Legal Administrative Support experience, particularly in a corporate or in-house legal team.

Familiarity with Contract Documentation such as NDAs and commercial agreements, including issuing and tracking them.

Document Management and Organization skills, including updating Confluence or similar collaboration tools.

Experience in Query Handling related to contracts, such as retrieving clauses and confirming contract statuses.

Reporting and Data Management experience, including generating reports and maintaining system accuracy.

Understanding of Legal Workflows and Approvals to ensure correct permissions and notices are in place.

General Administrative Experience supporting legal or commercial teams with various ad hoc tasks.
