As an Export Agency Finance and Trade - Assistant General Counsel - Vice President in the legal department supporting the firm's Trade & Working Capital business sub-vertical, you will provide legal support and advice to its export agency finance, structured working capital, supply chain finance and core trade businesses across all EMEA jurisdictions, in particular, working with leading Export Credit Agencies and multilateral agencies to provide export finance solutions to corporations and governmental institutions worldwide.

Job responsibilities
- Providing primary legal support and advice to the businesses on a wide range of product-specific queries, transactions and non-transactional matters relating to export finance as well as other trade & working capital products and services;
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts with the Bank's customers and export agencies;
- Contributing to projects that improve operational processes to increase the efficiency and scalability of legal support;
- Liaising and coordinating with local, regional and global legal counter-parts and functional partners on legal issues; and
- Instructing and working with outside counsel.
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
- Qualified lawyer from a common law jurisdiction or an EU member state with between 5 and 15 years of post-qualification legal experience;
- Experience in lending and finance; and
- Strong drafting, negotiation and legal analytical skills.
Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities
- Experience supporting export agency financings across different industries such as aviation, infrastructure and project finance deals, shipping, etc.;
- Experience in trade finance (including letters of credit / demand guarantees) and receivables financing;
- Experience working with business and control functions stakeholders across geographies.
