As Lean Leader Strategic Initiatives, you are spreading the Lean & Digital culture throughout all Florence & Massa String Test areas. Leading simplification, time reduction projects and roadmap definition and execution to achieve highest level of lean & digital implementation both in processes and production. You ensure continuous improvement by using innovation, enterprise-wide collaboration, and new insights, to look at all elements of our operations to identify, unlock, and enable the value of Baker Hughes to deliver for our customers, employees, and shareholders.

As a Lean Leader Strategic Initiatives, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing critical path of the Supply Chain and identify actions to shorten test execution and delivery lead time
  • Identifying strategic and growth initiatives for all Cell’ functions and driving continuous improvement according to the workload
  • Collaborating in cross functional situation with all functions in different plants
  • Driving new digital solution in ITO, Digital, Operations, Planning and Technology in order to integrate all functions and improve consistently quality and efficiency
  • Coordinating resources optimization and shop strategic initiatives implementation among all functions & to reach max standard level of HSE, OTD, Shop Efficiency and Lean levels
  • Supporting Cell Leader in maintaining consistent management across the plant and in reaching best possible line efficiency
  • Leveraging digitization to develop new tool for smart test bench planning
  • Remaining current on Lean & Digital methodologies and train division on lean concepts and mentor people using lean & Digital tools
  • Supporting P&E execution coordinating activities and cost control

Fuel your passion:

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor or Master’s Engineering degree
  • Demonstrate Manufacturing processes knowledge, experience 10+ years
  • Demonstrate Financial knowledge, demonstrated experience 5+ years
  • Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement tools certifications/knowledges
  • Be fluent in Italian and English, both oral and written and hold a EU Work Permit
