The KBReq position is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting. As a key member of the 9005699-Yum Brands Strategy team, you will play a vital role in driving our financial strategies and maintaining our strong financial position. Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the financial accounting and reporting functions for the assigned brands and markets.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with business goals.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, ensuring our financial practices remain current.
  • Provide financial expertise and guidance to brand teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial accounting and regulatory reporting, with a focus on international markets.
  • Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
  • Experience working with diverse cultural and business environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and tools for reporting and analysis.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent are preferred.
