The KBReq position is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting. As a key member of the 9005699-Yum Brands Strategy team, you will play a vital role in driving our financial strategies and maintaining our strong financial position.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the financial accounting and reporting functions for the assigned brands and markets.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with business goals.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, ensuring our financial practices remain current.
- Provide financial expertise and guidance to brand teams and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial accounting and regulatory reporting, with a focus on international markets.
- Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Experience working with diverse cultural and business environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in using financial software and tools for reporting and analysis.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent are preferred.
