Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the company's financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting, including tax filings and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a strong background in GAAP and regulatory reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in building and leading high-performing finance teams.
