Quilters Technology Delivery team are a core part of the CIO Function and the primary engine for the delivery of technology change. This includes provision of robust infrastructure and IT service operations across the organisation and developing relevant, integrated and optimised solutions that are scalable, commercially viable and deliver long-term value aligned to the business strategy.

As a Junior Technology Project Manager at Quilter, you will be part of a relatively small, but impactful team of PMs, who values working together, supporting each other and delivering high quality change to enable our people and our business to prosper
List the key responsibilities:
- Coordinating small, non‑complex change activities across Technology teams, ensuring tasks are clearly communicated, scheduled appropriately, and progressed in line with technology and wider organisational priorities.
- Supporting Technology operational processes, including helping maintain documentation, assisting with incident/problem/change workflows, and ensuring governance requirements are followed.
- Conduct analysis of project related data to translate findings into clear engaging reports and dashboards to support effective decision making.
- Supporting the setup of projects and technology change initiatives by helping organise documentation, clarify responsibilities, assist with resourcing requests, and coordinate with internal teams or third‑party suppliers.
- Assisting with tracking project dependencies and constraints, ensuring updates are captured, monitored, and shared through agreed governance and reporting processes.
- Helping to manage project risks and issues by logging, reviewing, and tracking them, escalating concerns to project managers where needed.
- Contributing to project performance tracking by collecting data for KPIs and metrics, maintaining dashboards, and highlighting areas that may require action.
- Helping to develop and maintain project plans, updating timelines, task lists, and progress information so they remain accurate and aligned to the overall schedule.
- Assisting with financial and milestone tracking, checking progress against plans and escalating any risks to timelines, budgets, or quality.
- Using developing knowledge of Technology solutions to help identify and track technical assumptions, dependencies, and risks.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, supporting the Technology function in refining processes and enhancing cross‑team ways of working.
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle including environment structures, testing phases and release disciplines
- Knowledge of waterfall and agile methods, including tools such as Jira, DevOps Boards, Microsoft Project and Project Online
- Working towards at least one qualification in either Prince2, MSP, APM, Scrum Master, would be beneficial however not essential, must have a desire to learn
- Data curious mindset with analysis skills to help shape initiatives
- Detail conscious; demonstrating strong attention to detail and ability to structure tasks and sequencing of activities
- Objectively and systematically analyses problems and risks to develop appropriate mitigating solutions
- Confidently communicates ideas and concerns, proactively escalating issues when appropriate to ensure clarity and alignment
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, colleagues and suppliers, successfully influencing, persuading and challenging when appropriate
- Demonstrates credibility, professionalism and strong personal integrity and acts as a role model for the Quilter values – Pioneering, Dependable, Stronger Together
- Experience in a financial sector is not essential however would be advantageous as the delivery of technical changes can involve a level of business understanding within a well governed change environment.
