Junior Copywriter

Bupa Place, Salford Quays

Hybrid – Up To 3 Days WFH  

Permanent Salary range:

From £24,000 Depending on Experience + Fantastic Benefits

Full time (37.5 Hours)

The role

The Junior Copywriter will play a key role in the Bupa Creative team by crafting high-quality, engaging, and effective copy across multiple channels and different business units. This position involves collaborating with designers, marketers, and other creative team members to deliver messaging that aligns with Bupa’s brand voice and business objectives

You’ll help us make health happen by

  • Content Creation: Write compelling and persuasive copy for a variety of
    formats, including internal communications, customer communications,
    presentations, newsletters, digital platforms, and printed materials.
  • Brand Alignment: Ensure all copy adheres to Bupa’s tone of voice, brand
    guidelines, and messaging principles.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the copy, design and marketing teams to
    create cohesive messaging that enhances campaign effectiveness.
  • Concept Development: Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and help
    develop campaign concepts alongside the creative team.
  • Research and Insight: Conduct research to understand audience needs,
    motivations, and behaviours to inform messaging strategies.
  • Proofreading and Editing: Assist in reviewing content for accuracy, clarity,
    grammar, and consistency.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-
    paced creative environment

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role

  • Education: Degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a
    related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Writing Skills: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye
    for detail and creativity.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a creative team and cross-
    functional groups.
  • Time Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
    tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the
    ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Tools and Systems: Familiarity with Microsoft Office and experience with
    content management systems (CMS) or creative tools like Figma is
    advantageous
