We take pride in our role as the linchpin for both our clients' success and the ongoing evolution of our own business to become the world's most wanted media agency.
The team’s primary focus is to ensure our global clients have the best pricing in the market. We deliver this through regular reporting and analysis of buying performance, forecasts, and understanding local market buying mechanics/trends across all media types: Digital, TV, Print, OOH and Radio. The focus of this role will be to collaborate with our in-market local agency teams, to ensure accurate reporting on our media pricing commitments and to coordinate our consolidated performance back to clients. This entry-level role will give you a great understanding of media investment and each media type.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Ensuring reports are accurate through reviewing data and discussing the results with local reporting teams.
•    Coordinating and building relationships with local agency teams to collect key reporting data.
•    Monitoring and analysing the WPP Media international network of clients’ media buying performance and reporting this back to the client.
•    Liaising with auditors to independently verify our performance and delivery against commitments to our clients, and ensuring that best media practice is employed.
•    Work on the new business proposals, including pricing.
•    Collaborate internally to ensure that the investment team are sharing best practices across all centralised teams, i.e. commercial and new business.

Other Responsibilities:
•    Contribute to the development of proprietary software through feedback and testing.
•    Looking ahead is a big part of our team’s culture; you will be able to get involved in cross-team projects across all areas of the business and based on your interests.
•    Opportunity to get involved in our employee representation groups, which cover anything from environmental sustainability to disability awareness to diversity and inclusion.

Our work requires an eye for detail and accuracy, a strong work ethic and a keen interest in working in the media industry. No experience in media is required. As part of the world’s largest media agency and working in a fast-paced industry, we are looking for someone who has an excellent willingness to learn and is able to work in an agile environment. Other key attributes we are looking for:

•    Logical and numerate - You must be inquisitive and love working with numbers.
•    Basic to Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills – most of the workload is based in Excel, including analysis of data sets, using formulas and pivot tables, and our proprietary analysis tool.
•    Good communication/ interpersonal skills - As well as working independently, the role involves collaboration with team members and partners based in local markets.
