Lloyd’s is the world’s leading insurance and reinsurance marketplace, bringing together the world’s leading risk takers to advance global progress.

Our strategy is focused on delivering strong underwriting performance, operating an efficient and flexible marketplace, and maximising the capital advantage of the Lloyd’s market — while continuing to build a Lloyd’s we are proud of.

How we deliver this, matters. We take the risk, make things happen, and own the outcome — working together across our global network to turn insight into impact.

Lloyd’s is currently recruiting an Insights Hub & Data & AI Community Manager on a 12 Month FTC (Fixed Term Contract) to help people across Lloyd’s and the wider market get more value from data, analytics and AI. You’ll grow our Insights Hub and Data & AI Community into high-value, well-used services. You’ll champion new ways of working, help colleagues turn AI into everyday practice and connect people with the data, technology and expertise they need to succeed.

What you’ll do

This is a role with broad reach. You won’t have direct reports, but you’ll influence across teams, seniority levels and the Lloyd’s market.

Grow the Insights Hub

You’ll help make the Insights Hub a service people value, use and recommend.

You’ll:

  • own its commercial performance, user satisfaction and adoption
  • Build strong relationships with users, subscribers and stakeholders across the market
  • Use feedback and Net Promoter Score (NPS) to identify and prioritise improvements
  • Work with data product owners to improve products and the overall experience
  • Embed strong data governance, quality, controls and accountability
  • Bring ideas and insight to the future development of Lloyd’s Data & AI Marketplace.
  • Build our Data & AI Community
  • You’ll create an active community that connects people, shares ideas and builds capability.
  • You’ll develop a programme of events, content and targeted initiatives that helps practitioners learn from each other and put new approaches into practice.
  • And you’ll play an important role in increasing adoption of Microsoft Copilot. You’ll identify barriers, share good practice and help scale use cases that create measurable value.
  • You’ll oversee the onboarding and progression of Business Data Lab cohorts working with Databricks.
  • You’ll help analysts, data scientists and actuaries get the support, structure and environment they need to turn promising ideas into valuable analytics solutions.

What you’ll bring

You’ll be comfortable working where data, technology, people and business outcomes come together.

We’re looking for evidence that you can:

  • build trusted relationships and influence across a complex organisation without relying on direct authority
  • communicate data and AI concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • understand business challenges and translate them into data requirements and practical solutions
  • articulate the value of data products, platforms or services
  • work effectively with data governance, quality, security and analytics tools
  • manage external suppliers or consultants against clear outcomes
  • solve complex problems creatively and use data to identify new opportunities
  • manage several priorities or programmes while maintaining momentum.
  • You’ll also bring relevant experience across areas such as data management, data governance, analytics, AI or data-led business delivery.
  • Experience with data platforms, data-as-a-service propositions and delivering change in complex organisations will be valuable.
  • Knowledge of insurance, financial services or the Lloyd’s and London market would help you get up to speed quickly.
  • And you’ll stay curious. Data and AI are moving quickly, so we’ll expect you to keep learning and confidently explore tools such as Copilot and Databricks.

Being inclusive at Lloyd’s is integral to how we work — and how we deliver impact.
We aim to build a diverse, inclusive environment that reflects the global markets we serve, where everyone is treated with dignity and respect and supported to reach their full potential.

We take the risk by challenging traditional thinking and being proactive about inclusion. That means being open and positive about workplace adjustments, prioritising health and wellbeing, and investing in diversity and inclusion training so everyone feels able to contribute and succeed.

We make things happen by turning our commitment into action. Through employee networks, mentoring, volunteering opportunities and sustained investment in professional development, we create an environment where inclusion is experienced day‑to‑day — not just talked about.

We own the outcome by focusing on impact. By bringing together diverse perspectives and the best minds in the industry, we work collaboratively with underwriters and brokers to create innovative, responsive solutions that share risk and solve complex problems across global markets.
