Hello! We're Teya.

Teya is a payment and software service provider, headquartered in London serving small, local businesses across Europe. Founded in 2019, we build easy to use, integrated tools that enable our members to accept payments and boost business performance.

At Teya we believe small, local businesses are the lifeblood of our communities.

We’re here because we don’t believe there’s a level playing field that gives small businesses with a fighting chance against the giants of the high street.

We’re here because we see banks and legacy service providers making things harder for them. We don’t think the best technology or the best service should be reserved for those with the biggest headquarters.

We’re here to fight for a future where small, local businesses can thrive, and to commit the same dedication they offer all of us.

Become a part of our story.

We’re looking for exceptional talent to join our mission. We offer a chance to create impact in a high-energy and connected culture, while benefiting from continuous learning opportunities, a supportive community which is proud to serve our mission, and comprehensive benefits.

Your Mission

You will be joining our London Inside Sales department as the Sales Coach and Trainer who makes everyone around you better. The team is currently around 30 inside sales agents selling Teya to local businesses. The majority of the team are early in their careers, hungry to learn, and value an experienced coach in their corner. You will spend your days on the sales floor, listening to calls, coaching deskside and running group sessions, and you will build the foundations the whole team sells with. Success looks like a sales team that measurably improves month after month. Ultimately, you will build and steer a coaching engine that runs on the playbook you created.

Coach the team

  • Run deskside coaching, call reviews and focused 1:1s across the inside sales floor.

  • Identify performance gaps rep by rep and close them with measurable results.

  • Deliver engaging group sessions the team genuinely wants to attend.

Build the foundations

  • Create the call structures and objection handling frameworks the whole team sells with.

  • Build and own the full coaching and training playbook.

  • Set up and run the coaching platform that keeps it all on track.

Train new joiners

  • Own onboarding training for every new joiner, taking them from day one to confident on the phone.

  • Work with team leads on a clean handover so coaching and management pull in the same direction.

Your Story
  • Proven experience as a sales coach or trainer, or a role where coaching was the core of your job, delivering it yourself in the room and one to one.

  • A telesales or inside sales background. You have sold over the phone and understand the rhythm of an inside sales floor.

  • The presence and credibility to hold a room, with the experience behind you that makes people want to listen.

  • Energy that lasts. You bring the same intensity to the eighth session of the day as the first.

  • A builder who can design frameworks, playbooks and training programmes from scratch, then stand up and deliver them.

  • Experience in payments or merchant services is a plus.

  • This role is based 5 days a week in our Central London office.

The Perks
  • Physical and mental health support through our partnership with GymPass giving free access to over 1,500 gyms in the UK, 1-1 therapy, meditation sessions, digital fitness and nutrition apps

  • Extended and improved maternity and paternity leave choices, giving employees more flexibility and support

  • Cycle-to-Work Scheme

  • Health and Life Insurance

  • Pension Scheme

  • 25 days of Annual Leave (+ Bank Holidays)

  • Friendly, comfortable and informal office environment in Central London

Teya is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.

We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or background can thrive and do their best work. We believe that a diverse team leads to better ideas, stronger outcomes, and a more supportive workplace for all.

If you require any reasonable adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process whether for interviews, assessments, or other parts of the application—we encourage you to let us know. We are committed to ensuring that every candidate has a fair and accessible experience with us.

What you need to know about the London Tech Scene

London isn't just a hub for established businesses; it's also a nursery for innovation. Boasting one of the most recognized fintech ecosystems in Europe, attracting billions in investments each year, London's success has made it a go-to destination for startups looking to make their mark. Top U.K. companies like Hoptin, Moneybox and Marshmallow have already made the city their base — yet fintech is just the beginning. From healthtech to renewable energy to cybersecurity and beyond, the city's startups are breaking new ground across a range of industries.
