About the team and role

Consumer Services

The team is focused on maintaining and generating revenue against a combined target of £13 million, working with customers across a broad range of sectors including retail, utilities and insurance. Through close collaboration and a strong understanding of customer needs, the team plays a key role in driving growth, supporting retention and delivering commercial success across the Direct EMEA customer base.


Inside Customer Success Executive

The Inside Customer Success Executive will report to the Direct Sales Team Manager and will be primarily focused on owning, developing and selling into a defined portfolio of accounts, while continuing to work closely with Customer Success Directors to support wider customer success activity.

Maintaining a high level of end user client contact, the role will proactively identify, nurture and convert opportunities within their own account base, with responsibility for retaining and growing customer revenue. The role will also build strong working relationships with Customer Success Directors, ensuring effective collaboration on shared customers, renewal activity and account administration where required.

What you will do
  • Speaking daily with the external account management team.
  • Promoting products across the GBG product portfolio.
  • Organising meetings with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Retaining and growing the book of existing renewal accounts.
  • Identifying risk in the aligned renewal accounts and helping to retain the client’s business.
  • Work within a target driven team.
  • Qualifying incoming Marketing sales leads, directing as appropriate.
Skills we are looking for
  • An individual who is interested in developing a career in sales in a client centric and high activity environment.
  • Experience of working within a target driven/performance-led business.
  • A good communicator, both orally and written.
  • Experience in IT/Enterprise software would be an advantage but not compulsory.
  • Detail conscious and committed to keeping accurate and up-to-date records
  • A motivated person, who is reliable and driven by success, reward and recognition.
  • An individual who can show business and commercial awareness, is entrepreneurial and a strong team player.
